San Francisco
Whole Day Private Sightseeing Tour
Oct. 21, 2010
Description & Accessibility
Muir woods is a national park to preserve and display very old redwoods that are very large in nature and you would be hard pressed to find anything like this anywhere else.
Accessibility:
Well the tour vehicle itself was not wheelchair accessible but if your mobility device was foldable or the scooter could easily come apart it could be carried in the vehicle as long as you can transfer into the vehicle.
Muir woods had some ruff sections but still wheelchair accessible, just watch where you are going for the best position to be in. Some areas of San Francisco has very steep hills and too dangerous for a wheelchair to go up or down but in a tour vehicle you are perfectly fine anywhere.
