Description & Accessibility
The hotel itself was great and in a good location but we booked a Studio room and we found it to be too small, if we stay in this hotel again we would book a suite rather than a studio room.
The Queen street mall was only a couple of blocks from the hotel. It was an open air type mall with both inside and outside sections to it.
Accessibility:
Hotel was accessible, however I would suggest taking a suite as opposed to a studio particularly if you are using a mobility device. The studio we had was in a corner of the floor with additional doors to open to get to the main hallway plus the studio room was a bit on the small side. The suites opened up directly to the main hallways of the floor and offered a lot more room.
The area around the hotel was easy to get to. The Queen Street mall which is only a couple blocks away is accessible, there is an incline section of road in one block getting to Queen street but it should be within the capabilities of most powered wheelchairs / scooters, you can also go through the lower entrance to the mall that will get you to Queen Street. This is where powered mobility is superior as push type manual wheelchairs make it more difficult for your able bodied companions to push you on inclines.
