Feb. 1, 2008
Description & Accessibility
This was a sunset cruise with buffet, if you want a window seat you must request this at time of booking for an additional cost.
There is several add on options available when booking such as the city lights package where you will be taken by vehicle after the cruise up to Mt. Tantalus for a beautiful night time view of the city.
Although thee oiginal web link no longer exists, from a earch I did find some sunset ddinner cruises hre – but check on their accessibility
Some entertainment was provided.
Accessibility: Yes
but take note of the following if roll on capability is required…
Wheel Chair Accessibility: The entire first level of the Navatek I (Sunset Buffet Dinner Cruise ONLY) is accessible by wheelchair. A transfer vehicle equipped with a lift is available upon request, please indicate during booking. For this activity, we will need at least 24 hours prior notice to secure your arrangements.
Also you can only take the standard buffet option as enhanced buffet at the Royal Ali’i Club is on the 2nd floor which is not accessible to wheelchairs.
The van that took us up to Mt. Tantalus (city lights option after the cruise) did not have roll on capabilities, so only if you mobility device was foldable could you go on it and you have to be able to manage getting in and out of the vehicle, after this we where dropped back at the hotel.
