Disney
Shopping
Besides the regular Disney type shopping at the parks, your hotel and ‘Downtown Disney’. There are two locations for ‘Premium outlet shops’, the Florida Mall, among others all worth a visit.
that is the link to the Vineland premium outlets. (we did not get to visit that location)
that is the link to the ‘International drive’ premium outlets (we did get to visit that one).
Link to the Florida Mall (we also got to that one)
All these locations are wheelchair accessible. If staying at a Disney resort take the free Disney bus to downtown Disney, and on the street beside there you can get the city bus (not free), to get to the international drive premium outlets, from Downtown Disney we took a city bus to the Florida Mall where we transferred to another city route to the premium outlet shops. Most city buses are wheelchair accessible. There are city bus routes that go to the transportation center near Magic Kingdom park too so check the city bus routes…
Beware if taking a city bus route – that some routes do not run late into the evening, so you have to be aware of the last route back and all the connections you may have to make to get back, so you do not end up missing the last bus of the evening and get stuck taking a taxi like we did.
Most of the city buses that I saw was wheelchair accessible, I only came across one bus that was not accessible.
