Las Vegas
Eiffel Tower
@Paris Hotel
Description & Accessibility
The Eiffel Tower is located on the Las Vegas strip at the Paris Hotel. It is a scaled down replica of the Eiffel Tower in France.
It has a observation deck as well as a restaurant, I did not go to the restaurant on the tower but did go to the observation deck. From around 460 feet above the strip you can view the entire strip. There are 2 observation towers in Las Vegas, the Eiffel tower at the Paris hotel and the Stratosphere, the Stratosphere tower has an observation deck that is at least 1,000 feet, but is at the very end of the main Las Vegas strip, where the Eiffel tower is around the middle of the strip. Both towers certainly is worthwhile taking in, but as of now I only have been up the Eiffel Tower.
Magnificent views of Las Vegas can be seen from the observation deck of the Eiffel tower, you should however bring a sweater even on warm days, as it can be windy at the top, we where up it in the evening but would like to at some point see the view in the daytime as well.
If you cannot do stairs or are using a wheelchair or scooter let them know at the ticket office as they will notify the elevator operator, the normal procedure is that you enter the elevator from a different location & level in the Paris hotel and exit on the return on a lower location, people traffic flow control so that people leaving do not cross the the path of the people entering. However for the disabled using a mobility device will enter the elevator at the same location as the people exiting as it is the accessible elevator entrance to the tower. The observation deck itself is accessible, however the platform is not massive in size therefore you could be competing with people congestion as you make your way around this deck, but nevertheless this is doable from a wheelchair.
