Disney Florida
Hollywood Studios
Description & Accessibility
Another one of Disney’s parks that you simply cannot see all that is there in just one day. It is one of those parks that you will want to come back to.
The American idol experience where you can watch the show or even audition. This is not the real American idol auditions, what it is you are trying out for is a front of the line pass to any American idol audition location. If you audition here and they pick you as a candidate (3 picked for every show) and the audience votes via a keypad at every seat who they think performed the best and the winner of each show through out the day goes on to a final show of the day and that winner gets a front of the line audition pass to the real American idol auditions at any location. For the most of us who cannot sing a note in tune just go to the lineup for the studio audience.
Fantasmic is a show put on after the sun goes down, and you should make an effort to see it, it is a great show to see, but be there early, the stadium gets packed full.
The studio lot tour is also something you should not miss, complete with special effects demos.
We where there towards the end of November so areas of the park was getting into a Christmas theme complete with fake snow flakes coming down.
Accessibility:
The park is accessible. Shows are accessible. The studio back lot tour is accessible with roll on capabilities on the tour vehicle.
Certain amusement rides such as the tower of terror are not and will depend on what walking capabilities you still have on rather you can transfer or not. But to drop / free fall 13 stories and you may not be up to that anyway even if you are capable of transferring to the ride.
