Description & Accessibility
Haleakala National Park
The Haleakala Visitor Center is at 9,740 feet atop its summit, if you have an issue with high altitudes then consider not taking this tour. One person had to get off at a stop part way up due to breathing issues brought on by the altitude. They arranged to pick the person up and bring back to the ship.
On the day we where there where low clouds present that made heavy fog when we go to the top and therefore could not see a thing.
Accessibility:
If your mobility device is foldable or comes apart quickly it can be carried in the under bus storage compartments. You also must be able to handle the steps into the bus. The visitor center is accessible.
