Full day Brisbane Mount Cootha & Lone Pine Sanctuary including lunch
Feb. 18, 2008
Description & Accessibility
This was a full day private tour of the Brisbane area. It was a great tour.
Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was one stop on the tour, you had the opportunity to hold a Koala and feed the Kangaroos.
We covered a great deal of the Brisbane City area that day and it is certainly a worth while tour to take.
Accessibility:
All stops that we where at was accessible. The vehicle we used was not roll on accessible but as long as the mobility device was foldable or could quickly come apart it could be carried with you.
Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary – at the Kangaroo reserve is grassy hill area and the tour guide with me also helping managed to push me about half way up the hill and with food in my hands the kangaroos came to me. As we where leaving the Kangaroo area we notice a paved pathway that I believe would have taken us up to the top which may have been a better alternative and easier to go down the hill than up provided the ground was not too wet that day. Some of the Kangaroos where also at the top.
